St Patrick’s Cathedral was built in the spirit of the people of the late 1800s. It took 21 years and donations from poor immigration’s and 103 wealthy citizens alike but its doors finally opened in 1879. The impressive holy building is still used for mass services, confessions, baptismal, reconciliation, weddings, and funerals. Tours are available daily starting at 10am.
