Bob’s Bar

Join us for a specialty cocktail in Bob’s Bar and Lounge. Bob’s Bar offers a lively atmosphere and a warm décor that features leather banquets and a spacious 23-seat bar with comfortable leather bar stools overlooking 52nd Street. Serving over-sized cocktails and wines by the glass, guests can enjoy the Bar menu or a prime steak from our Bob’s Steak and Chop House menu. Following the repeal of Prohibition in 1933, 52nd St. supplanted 133rd St. as the new “Swing Street” in Manhattan. Fun-seekers could stroll across town west from Madison, through the Broadway District as far as 8th Ave. and hear some of the best jazz in the world. The abundance of great jazz clubs and lively street life was in part due to the convenient location for musicians of the day, who were splitting time playing on Broadway and in the ‘legitimate’ nightclubs elsewhere in the city. It was also the site of CBS Records recording studio, and, just two blocks away, NBC Radio Symphony recordings were taking place at Rockefeller Plaza. In an homage to 52nd St.’s gloried past, Bob’s features both classic cocktails (such as the Rum Old Fashioned, Mulled Manhattan and the Luxardo Martini), as well as Bob’s signature cocktail’s (The Dirty Bob: a Ketel One martini with house stuffed blue cheese olives and olive brine). Whether you are looking for a great bar to meet up with friends after work, or a welcoming place to watch a game and enjoy a prime steak, Bob’s Bar will not disappoint.
