Sessanta features the cuisine of Italy in a stylish and comfortable setting. Created by John McDonald and Steven Eckler of Mercer Street Hospitality and designed by London’s Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the space nods to mid-century Italy, combining the avant-garde aesthetic of Giò Ponti with the glamour of Federico Fellini. Chef Adam Leonti’s modern interpretation of classic Italian cuisine was created with inspiration from his Italian-American upbringing. Housemade pastas and hearty meat dishes are balanced by fish entrees, crudos and seasonal salads, offering something for everyone. Leonti’s food follows the seasons throughout Italy, taking its cue from the south in summer and the north in fall and winter. The cocktail list combines Italian aperitifs and amari with classic recipes, and a comprehensive selection of wines focuses on Italian varietals. Sessanta is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner daily as well as aperitivo hour from 5pm-7pm. In the warmer weather, guests can relax on an outdoor patio overlooking Thompson St.
