Prospect Park
Prospect Park located in Brooklyn New York is a 585 acres public park. Some of the key attractions at Prospect Park include the Long Meadow (a gorgeous 90-acre meadow), the Picnic House (an event function facility), Litchfield Villa, Prospect Park Zoo, a large nature conservancy, the boathouse (with a visitor’s center and Audubon center), and Brooklyn’s only lake. Created in 1867, following the creation of Grand Central Park in New York City, Prospect Park was so revolutionary at the time that many considered the park itself a work of art. The expansive park was designed to give urban dwellers the experience of having nature in the middle of the city.
