Midtown Tunnel

Enter the Queens Midtown Tunnel (pay toll). Upon exiting the tunnel bear right onto 37th Street (Uptown sign). Turn left onto 37th Street and follow across town to Madison Avenue. Turn right onto Madison Avenue and follow north for 18 blocks to 55th Street. Make a left onto 55th Street and Shoreham Hotel is between 5th and 6th Avenues on the north (right) side of the Street.

Long Island Expressway

Follow the expressway west to the Queens Midtown Tunnel and follow directions above.

From New England (Interstate 95)

Follow Interstate 95 South to the Triboro Bridge. Exit onto the Triboro Bridge (pay toll), bear to the left, sign “Manhattan/FDR South”. Take the FDR South, exit onto 49th Street. Follow 49th Street to Madison Avenue. Turn right on Madison Avenue and go north up Madison to 55th Street Shoreham Hotel is on 55th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues on the north (right) side of the Street.

Westchester

Take the Saw Mill River Parkway South. Follow the signs to the Henry Hudson Parkway South. Exit the Henry Hudson Parkway at 56th Street. Turn left on 56th Street and follow to 5th Avenue. Turn right on 5th Avenue to 55th Street. Make a right onTO 55th Street. Shoreham Hotel is between 5th and 6th Avenues on the north (right) side of the Street.

Newark/Lincoln Tunnel

Take the New Jersey Turnpike North to the Lincoln Tunnel (Exit 16). Upon exiting the tunnel, follow traffic to 42nd Street. Turn right onto 42nd Street and follow to 6th Avenue (Avenue of the Americas). Make a right onto 56th Street and follow to 5th Avenue. Make a right onto 5th Avenue and another right onto 55th Street. Shoreham Hotel is on 55th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues on the north (right) side of the street.

George Washington Bridge

Follow the signs towards the Henry Hudson Parkway. Take the Henry Hudson Parkway to 56th Street. Make a left onto 56th Street and follow to 5th Avenue. Turn right onto 5th Avenue and make another right onto 55th Street. Shoreham Hotel is on 55th Street between 5th and 6th Avenues on the north (right) side of the street.

From JFK Airport

  1. Take the Van Wyck Expressway to the Grand Central Parkway to the Triboro Bridge (pay toll).
  2. Follow signs to FDR South.
  3. Exit at 53rd Street and follow to Madison Avenue.
  4. Turn right on Madison Avenue to 55th Street and make a left.
  5. The Shoreham is on 55 Street between 5th and 6th Avenues on the north (right) side of the street.

From LaGuardia Airport

  1. Take the Grand Central Parkway to the Triboro Bridge (pay toll).
  2. Follow signs to FDR South.
  3. Exit at 53rd Street and follow to Madison Avenue.
  4. Turn right on Madison Avenue to 55th Street and make a left.
  5. The Shoreham is on 55 Street between 5th and 6th Avenues on the north (right) side of the street.

Newark Liberty International Airport

  1. Take the New Jersey Turnpike North to the Lincoln Tunnel (Exit 16).
  2. Upon exiting the tunnel, follow traffic to 42nd Street.
