Well at least it used to be. Now the nabe is known as New Yorks’ “Silicon Alley”. The area is named after the distinctive Flatiron building and used to be known as “Ladies Mile” due to all of the fancy department stores who have since moved on. Shopping though always abundant in NYC, just hop over to Broadway and stroll down to Soho where you can find everything from Bloomingdales to Uniqlo.
